Your mission begins NOW. Registration is open!

Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to rendezvous at 18:00 hours on 23 June 2012 at 7920 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, Virginia, in the lobby of the Hilton McLean Tyson's Corner Hotel, with approximately 180 Insurance Trainers and Educators. It will be the first event of the 2012 Annual Conference and will discuss – Mission: Possible. You will recognize your targets because they are friendly, educated and eager to learn as much as possible about training in the industry. They will be quick to share their information with you, but will, of course, hold trade secrets from you! Our intel tells us there will be outstanding Keynote speakers, a wide variety of Concurrent Sessions, and these things they call Networking Activities. More intel will be coming your way about the contents of those “workshops.” Our insiders tell us there will once again be Learning Labs offered throughout the conference.

As always, should you or any of your Training Force be caught or compromised, the local State Insurance Director will disavow any knowledge of your actions. A few changes to this message from your previous missions:

The first SITE Annual Conference was held in 1954 and included training professionals from all facets of the insurance industry.

The tradition continues with a dedicated team of volunteers who plan every aspect of this annual educational event. You will find engaging and leading edge keynote speakers, experienced and knowledgeable session leaders, and solution providers who can partner with you to help solve your toughest training challenge.

Networking with your peers is a significant part of the experience. Whether you are a First Timer or a Seasoned Conference Attendee – the annual conference is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to your colleagues. The relationships you establish at this event will last a lifetime.

Last year we were on a mission, a mission to expand our training opportunities at the conference, and we accomplished that mission through a series of Learning Labs. They were so well received; our Program Committee has brought them back again this year. You will find more of them and with more tenacity.
